mechanic: resurrection

When compared to Jason Statham's other movies like Transporter and The Italian Job, it doesn't measure up but Mechanic: Resurrection is still okay.
The Plot was passable:  Jason Statham plays a professional assassin, Arthur Bishop, who is forced out of retirement when his arch enemy, Crain (Sam Hazeldine) kidnaps Gina (Jessica Alba) the woman he loves. He's has to kill three people while making it look like an accident. Bishop knows that once he completes his task he and Gina will no longer be relevant to Crain. So he has to think of a way to save them both before time runs out.
The love relationship between Bishop and Gina happened so ridiculously fast, I thought I had missed a few scenes.
I was disappointed to see Michelle Yeoh play such an innocuous character (no "hiya" from her). So bummed.  The stunts and action, not that wonderful but I did love when Bishop carried out the second assassination in a glass swimming pool hung precariously on a high rise building.
Well the movie ain't all that bad, there were some globe-trotting to exotic locations - Brazil, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia and Bulgaria.
And we get to see Jessica's stunning look in a bikini and Jason's fantastic abs. Am a perv? I know. I have absolutely nothing to say about Tommy Lee Jones’ ridiculous pimp look and soul patch.
So anyways, if you are looking to pass the day with a little action then Mechanic: Resurrection is a good choice.
