nine lives

This film is supposed to be a family comedy but it bored me to sleep both times I saw it (I really can't believe I saw it twice). I also can't believe the likes of Kevin Spacey, Christopher Walken and Jennifer Garner starred in it. Kevin Spacey starred as Tom Brand, a wealthy, rude and self-centred real estate tycoon. Brand is obsessed with making his company building (firebrand) the tallest skyscraper in the northern hemisphere and as usual, neglects his wife Lara (Jennifer Garner) and daughter Rebecca (Malina Weissman).
For his daughter's 11th birthday, Brand decides to get her a cat called Mister Fuzzypants (although he hates cats) from a pets shop owned by the weird Mr Perkins (Christopher Walken). On his way to his daughter’s birthday party, Brand detours to his company with the cat and accidentally gets struck by lightning on top of the roof. Brand ends up being trapped in the body of Mister Fuzzypants. For the rest, you have to go see it to find out.
I have nothing to say about this movie except that it was seriously boring and the cat was mostly CGI. Word of advice though, if you do decide to see Nine Lives, I suggest you keep a pillow close cos you never know when you might conk off. Laters
