La La Land

This film was worth the hype for me but I know that not everyone is entertained by a romantic musical drama (one of my brothers didn't even watch past the first scene). But it was truly truly beautiful: the songs, the choreography, the colours and the screenplay.
Ryan Gosling stars as Sebastian Wilder, a jazz musician down on his luck but who has a dream of keeping jazz alive by opening his own jazz club, and Emma Stone stars as Mia Dolan, a struggling actress who dreams of making it in Hollywood. The film is set in Los Angeles, where they both meet and fall in love and together they help each other achieve their dreams but this unfortunately causes them to drift apart. I really loved the last scene of the film when they see each other again after five years, the nostalgia of the past and what could have been. I wish they had stayed together (crying).
Oh well! The sacrifices we make to attain our goals. Anyway go check out La La Land. Laters
